Priyanka Shah-Schommer

Priyanka Shah-Schommer grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota. She obtained her bachelors degree as a double major in Political Science and Global Studies from the University of Minnesota before venturing outside our beautiful state to attend law school at the University of Maryland. Thereafter, she served as a judicial law clerk for three years before returning to Minnesota.

Priyanka chose to focus on family law because she knew she wanted to work directly with individual clients and to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. She lives with her husband and their three adopted cats. She cares as much for animals as she does humans, and is involved with a number of animal welfare advocacy projects, including Ruff Start Rescue, Animal Folks, and Feline Guardians. She loves playing tennis with her sister, and looks forward to her monthly book club that has been going steady for two years now.
